Mr. DEDE was born in Kırşehir in 1983. He graduated in year 2006 with a Bachelor’s Degree in History from Boğaziçi University. He completed his Master’s in the field of History in 2011 at the University of Bilkent and is still continuing his Doctoral studies in Atatürk’s Principles and Revolution History Institute at the University of Hacettepe.

DEDE worked as a graduate assistant at the Department of History of Turkish Republic at the University of Bilkent between years 2007-2009 and started his career in the public sector in 2010 as an Expert Assistant of European Union Affairs at the European Union General Secretariat. He became an Expert in 2014 and worked in different units of the Ministry of European Union and undertook the duty of monitoring of the 24^th chapters of Justice, Freedom, and Security along with IPA Projects related to these chapters at the Directorate of Political Affairs.

DEDE who was appointed as a rapporteur at the Office of Presidency in 2019 served as a coordinator of infrastructure and health sector projects in the Refugee Financial Facility Fund (FRIT) Coordination Office at the Office of Presidency. During his time of service at the Office of Presidency, he was also appointed as the Cyprus Affairs Coordinator as well as took part as a member of the Turkish Republic Technical Committee.

DEDE was appointed as the Head of Employment Policies at the General Directorate of Labour in February 2022, and has been acting Deputy Director General since April 2023 as well as acting Head of the Department of Public Unions and Officials since November 2023.

DEDE speaks fluent English, is married, and has two children.
