The Minimum Wage Determination Commission held its first meeting on 1 December.


The Minimum Wage Determination Commission has started its work to determine the minimum wage level to be applied in 2022. In the Commission chaired by Minister Vedat Bilgin, the workers were represented by the teams led by Türk-İş General Education Secretary Nazmi Irgat and their employers by TİSK Secretary General Akansel Koç.

The process of the Commission's work was also planned at the meeting, where the findings of the research made by our Ministry to obtain the evaluations and expectations of the workers and employers regarding the minimum wage were shared by our Minister.

The second meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will be hosted by the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions on Tuesday, December 7 at 14:00, and the third meeting will be hosted by the Confederation of Turkish Employers' Unions on Thursday, December 9 at 10:00.
