The first meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission was held on 4 December.


The Minimum Wage Determination Commission has started its work to determine the minimum wage level to be applied in 2021. The Commission's first meeting was held online on 4 December as part of the Covid-19 measures. At the meeting, after the speeches of Minister Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk and TÜRK-İŞ and TİSK representatives regarding the new term minimum wage expectations, technical studies were initiated.
It is anticipated that the work of the Commission will be completed with the announcement of the minimum wage amount to be applied in 2021 in the last week of December.
