At the opening meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan chaired the Minimum Wage Determination Commission and made the opening speech at the meeting hosted by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission, where representatives of the worker and employer parties were present, determined the method and work schedule at the first meeting held at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security within the scope of its work to determine the figure that will be valid in 2024

Minimum Wage Determination Commission was held at the ministry building with the participation of Minister of Labor and Social Security Prof. Dr. Vedat Işıkhan, General Director of Labor Mehmet Baş, TÜRK-İŞ Deputy Chairman Ramazan Ağar and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Confederation of Employer Associations of Turkey (TİSK) Özgür Burak Akkol.

The Commission will continue its meetings under the chairmanship of Mehmet Baş, General Director of Labor.

The Minimum Wage Determination Commission, represented by Türk-İş on the worker side and TİSK on the employer side, will continue its work under the Chairmanship of General Director of Labor Mehmet Baş.

It has been decided that the second meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, consisting of workers, employers and government representatives, will be held on December 18, within the scope of its work to determine the minimum wage that will be valid in 2024.
