Meeting on the Future of Post-Disaster Employment Held

Within the scope of the "Project for Supporting the Decent Jobs of the Future" project carried out by our General Directorate, the 'Future Jobs Commission', which was formed to share the works carried out with the understanding of future jobs and to develop new strategy and policy proposals in this field, convened for the 4th time.

The meeting was attended by representatives of public institutions and organizations, social partners, professional organizations, non-governmental organizations, international organizations, universities and private sector organizations with the Future of Post-Disaster Employment agenda, which aims to comprehensively address the effects of the earthquake disaster that took place in our country on 6 February 2023 on working life. It was held in Ankara on April 12, 2023 with the participation of the participants.

In the meeting chaired by our General Manager Sadettin AKYIL and attended by ILO Turkey Director Giovanni Di COLA and TOBB Deputy Secretary General Cengiz DELİBAŞ, contributions were received from stakeholder institutions and organizations on the Post-Disaster Sectoral View and the Impact of Earthquake-Related Migration on Working Life. After receiving the evaluations of the participants on the subject, the meeting ended.
