“World Day Against Child Labour” event was held

The World Day Against Child Labor was held on June 12, 2023, in cooperation with our Ministry and the International Labor Organization, within the framework of the 12 June World Day Against Child Labour, which was declared to draw attention to child labor, to support the global campaign against child labor and the growing anti-child labor movement all over the world. .

After the opening speeches by Giovanni Di Cola, Deputy Director of the ILO Office for Turkey, and Mehmet Baş, Deputy Director of Labor, the documentary "Season", shot at the Şereflikoçhisar METİP area, was screened. The event continued with the presentation of “UN Alliance 8.7 Process and Child Labour”. After the presentation, the event ended with general evaluations.

In addition, Istanbul Galata Tower and Ankara Atakule were illuminated as part of the 12 June World Day Against Child Labour, and “Social Justice for All! End Child Labor” message content was reflected.
