“World Day Against Child Labour” Conference was held

World Conference Against Child Labor was held by our Ministry on June 13, 2022, within the scope of 12 June World Day Against Child Labour, which was announced to draw attention to child labor, to support the global campaign against child labor and the growing anti-child labor movement all over the world. Our Deputy Ministers Prof. Dr. Dear Lütfihak Alpkan and Opr. Dr. Ms. Ertuğrul Soysal, UNICEF Turkey Representative Ms. Regina De Dominicis and UN Resident Coordinator Ms. Alvaro Rodriguez attended.

After the opening speeches by our General Manager Mr. Nurcan Önder, the Conference continued with panel sessions titled “Combating Child Labour: Current Situation, Policy Areas and Priorities” and “Building a Better Future: Eliminating Child Labor in Line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals”. was done. After the panels, the conference ended with a question-answer session and general evaluations.
