Minimum Wage Determination Commission convened for the second time


The second meeting of the Minimum Wage Determination Commission, which continues its work to determine the minimum wage level to be applied in 2021, was held on December 15, hosted by the Turkish Confederation of Employers' Unions (TİSK). Our General Manager Nurcan Önder chaired the meeting, which was held online as part of the measures to combat the Covid-19 epidemic.

At the meeting, the TİSK delegation provided information on the economic developments and current conditions in Turkey and in the world. Bureaucrats of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, the Ministry of Commerce and the Turkish Statistical Institute shared the data that can be taken into account in the studies with the members of the Commission.

The third meeting of the commission is planned to be held online on December 22, hosted by the Confederation of Turkish Trade Unions (TÜRK-İŞ).
