Working Life Meetings 1-Analysis of Legal Practices


The first meeting of the "Working Life Meetings" series, which aims to bring together the sections related to working life under the coordination of our Ministry, was held in Istanbul on February 21, 2020 with the theme of "Analysis of Legal Practices".

The program hosted by the Confederation of Turkish Employers' Associations; Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services, and Abdülhamit GÜL, Minister of Justice, attended the Court of Cassation, Ministry of Justice, senior officials of our Ministry, and representatives of social parties.

Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, in the opening speech of the program, stated that they are in constant dialogue with employers and workers' representatives, and that one of the most common requests from employers and workers to our Ministry is the issue of judicial practices, and members of the high judiciary on judicial practices related to labor law. and that their desire to meet with lawyers and talk around a table was conveyed to them.

Minister Çavuşoğlu stated that the main purpose of the meeting was to bring together the parties of the judiciary, workers and employers, to evaluate the presentations here and to try to find solutions for them in the coming days.

Working Life Meetings will continue to bring workers and employers together on different issues, and the determined issues will be consulted by experts in meetings to be held with different themes.
