12. Working Assembly


The 12th Labor Assembly was organized by our General Directorate at Ankara ATO Congresium on 23 May with the agenda of "Working for a Brighter Future" on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the International Labor Organization (ILO).

Our Minister Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK and ILO Director-General Guy RYDER made opening speeches at the 12th Labor Assembly meeting, which was held with the presence of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN.

Global Commissioner Atsushi SEIKE contributed as a guest speaker and shared information about the “Working for a Brighter Future” report.

President of the Presidency of Defense Industries İsmail Demir, Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board İlker AYCI and Microsoft Turkey Deputy General Manager of Public Sector and Investments Erdem ERKUL made speeches on the subject.

The program continued with the panel "Working for a Brighter Future: The Role and Expectations of Employees and Employers". The chair of the session was Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Representatives who spoke on behalf of TÜRK-İŞ, HAK-İŞ, DİSK, TİSK, TOBB, MEMUR-SEN, KAMUSEN and TESK evaluated the report in the panel held by M. Fatih UŞAN.

After the program, our Minister Zehra Zümrüt SELÇUK, ILO Director-General Guy RYDER, met with the heads and managers of workers', civil servants and employers' unions for iftar.
