Ersoy GÜNAY
Acting Deputy Director General

Born in 1975 in Afyonkarahisar, Ersoy GÜNAY completed primary, secondary and high school education respectively in İzmir, Balıkesir and Afyonkarahisar. He graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Education, Department of English Language Teaching in 1997.

He started his career as an English teacher at Afyonkarahisar Kocatepe Anatolian High School in 1997. After 17 years of teaching and training in various schools and institutions, he was appointed as the 1st Consultant at the Turkish Grand National Assembly in 2015. After 3 years of this assignment, he worked as an expert in the Book Review Department of the Board of Education and Board of Education of the Ministry of National Education and as an expert in the Presidency of the Turkish National Agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On 25 December 2023, he was appointed as the Deputy Director General of Foreign Relations and European Union at the Ministry of Labour and Social Security.

Fluent in English, German and Italian, Ersoy GÜNAY is married with two children.
