Under the chairmanship of Dr. Carsten Stender, who is the Ministry's Director General for European and International Employment and Social Policy, a delegation from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) paid a visit to our General Directorate.

Under the chairmanship of Dr. Carsten Stender, who is the Ministry's Director General for European and International Employment and Social Policy, a delegation from the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) paid a visit to our General Directorate.

Josefin Pfeuer, the FRG Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Expert, Gabriele Weinhold, the Counsellor of Labour, Health and Social Affairs at the German Embassy in Ankara, and Sinan Zeyneloglu, an expert at the Counsellor's Office were also in the delegation. Acting Director General Oğuz Tuncay, Acting Deputy Director General Ahmet Nazif Garibağaoğlu And Labour Expert Atilla Ethem Zeybek represented our General Directorate at the meeting.

During the meeting held at the Directorate General's office on the 5th of March, 2024, the visit of the Parliamentary Undersecretary of the German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, Anette Kramme to our Ministry and the revitalization of the inter-ministerial joint working group were discussed.

In addition, opinions were exchanged regarding the problems of the Turkish community in Germany in the field of vocational training, unemployment/ employment, retirement, care services, skilled labour immigration to Germany, professional development of young people in Türkiye and projects implemented in our country for Syrian refugees.
