The Delegation from German Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs Paid a Visit to our Ministry


Having visited our Ministry, the delegation headed by Anette Kramme, Parliamentary Undersecretary of Labour and Social Affairs Ministry of Federal Republic of Germany addressed the issues of strengthening inter-ministerial relations and opportunities for cooperation.

The delegation headed by Anette Kramme, Parliamentary Undersecretary of Labour and Social Affairs Ministry of Federal Republic of Germany paid a visit to our Ministry on 21 May 2024.

Presided by Dr. Adnan Ertem, Deputy Minister, representing Turkish side, the meeting focused on the long-standing relations between Türkiye and Germany. Stating the substantial contributions made by Turkish community in Germany, Dr. Ertem also voiced the problems faced.

Dr. Ertem conveyed the intent of reviving Joint Working Group in particular and received the opinions of German side in this regard.

Underlining the importance of Joint Working Group in terms of social and economic relations between the two Countries, German delegation stated that they would be pleased with revival of the group again. Having also stated that digitalisation/green transformation, qualified labour migration and rehabilitation process of German insurance holders could be addressed in Türkiye, the delegation emphasized the need for mutual sharing and evaluations. At the end of talks, “Cooperation Protocol between German Juridical Institution of Accident Insurance and Directorate General for Occupational Health and Safety” which expired in March 2023, was renewed.

As for the delegations, Turkish side was comprised of our Deputy Minister Dr. Adnan Ertem, Vice-President of SSI İsmail Ertüzün, Director General for Foreign Relations and European Union Oğuz Tuncay, Director General for Occupational Health and Safety Prof. Dr. Muhammet Fatih Bilal Alodalı, Acting Deputy Director General for Foreign Relations and European Union Ahmet Nazif Garibağaoğlu, Deputy Director General of ISKUR Mustafa Işık, Head of Department for Citizen Services Abroad Mahmut Musa Karabulutlu. German delegation consisted of Parliamentary Undersecretary Anette Kramme, Director General of German Juridical Institution of Accident Insurance (DGUV) Dr. Stefan Hussy, Branch Director Patricia Heımann, Expert Josefin Pfeufer, Councillor of Labour and Social Affairs of Embassy of Germany Gabriele Weınhold and Local Expert for Labour and Social Affairs Sinan Zeyneloğlu.
