Felicitations to the Workers Union, one of the first social security and social assistance institutions of our Republic, on its 100th anniversary. The Union, whose foundations date back to the Havza-i Fahmiyye Labor Law enacted for mineworkers from Zonguldak in 1921; It has become one of the symbolic institutions of production, labour and sweat of brow in our country.

On the path we head out to make the Century of Türkiye the century of labour, work and production nationally, as the Ministry of Labour and Social Security we will always continue to place importance to and support introducing our foundations that represent our consciousness of unity and solidarity, such as Workers Union, to our future generations and the works to be carried out to make it more reproductive and effective.

I would like to thank all the members of the institution that has served the union since its foundation to date and brought it to this day and I hope 100th anniversary will be beneficent to our country and nation. We are stronger with our monumental institutions that keep our centuries-old solidarity spirit alive in all areas of social life, especially working life.
