He was born in 1972 in Bingöl. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Bingöl. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Gazi University, Department of Labour Economics and Industrial Relations, in 1994. In 2002, he completed his Master’s degree at Gazi University’s Graduate School of Social Sciences in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations with a thesis entitled "Economic and Social Effects of Stabilization Policies Performing in Struggling with Inflation”.

Aydın started his career in the field of trade unions in 1996 and later joined the Social Insurance Institution as an enforcement officer in 1997, eventually advancing to the position of Supervisor. In 2008, he served as the Founding Faculty Secretary at Bingöl University. In 2009, he joined the Ministry of Labour and Social Security’s Directorate General of Labour, where he served as Branch Manager in the Department of Foreign Work Permits.

During his tenure in the Department of Foreign Work Permits, Aydın contributed to legislation and policy-making processes. In 2011, during the integration of Regional Directorates of Labour into the Provincial Directorates of the Employment Agency, he provided seminars across various provinces as a trainer on foreigners’ work permits regulations for Employment Agency personnel.

In April 2024, Aydın was appointed as Acting Head of the Sectoral Work Permits I Department within the Directorate General of International Labour Force, where he continues to serve.

Aydın is married and has two children.
