Department of International Labour Force Policies and Researches

Duties of the Department of International Labour Force Policies and Researches;

  1. To work on the establishment, updating, development and data integration of the technological infrastructure and information systems needed to increase the quality of the services offered by the Directorate General,
  2. To carry out the preparation of annual evaluation reports for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating international labor policy,
  3. To collect all kinds of data needed in policy studies regarding international labour force, to cooperate with relevant institutions and organizations to collect the needed data,
  4. Establishing the data management infrastructure of promotion offices and carrying out information studies,
  5. To carry out policy making studies regarding international labour force, to ensure coordination at national and international levels regarding the implementation of these policies and to follow up the implemented policies,
  6. Participating in the work on the budget of the ministry,
  7. Coordinating the duties assigned to the Policy Boards,
  8. Preparing strategies, plans, programs on matters falling within the scope of duty and authority of the Directorate General and following the strategies, plans, programs for which the General Directorate is responsible or a stakeholder as the relevant unit. 
  9. Contributing to legislation and policy studies regarding the Law on International Labuor Force and its sub-regulations,
  10. To carry out business and transactions by designing the necessary infrastructure and information systems related to authorized intermediary institutions, and to compile and evaluate data regarding the activities carried out by these institutions,
  11. To design, implement and manage the technological infrastructure and information systems required to carry out the service areas of the Directorate General through the e-Government portal, and to design, implement and manage the information systems required for the statistical infrastructure of the Directorate General,
  12. To follow the press, publication and media organizations, to ensure coordination with the relevant units and to carry out the necessary work and transactions for the promotion, announcement, management, updating and follow-up of the Directorate General’s activities in the electronic environment (web, media, social media, etc.),
  13. To prepare and implement national and international projects on issues related to its field of duty, to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects,
  14. To ensure the preparation of periodical and non-periodical publications of the Directorate General,
  15. Participating in national and international training activities related to the field of duty and carrying out these activities,
  16. To carry out other duties assigned by the Director General.
