Duties of the Department of International Protection;

  1. To carry out studies regarding the participation of foreigners under international protection in working life in Türkiye and to carry out tasks within this scope,
  2. To carry out studies on the adaptation of foreigners under international protection to working life, and to conduct evaluation and reporting studies in this context,
  3. To follow international developments in the context of labor force coming through irregular migration,
  4. To contribute to the plans to provide in-service training to personnel on necessary subjects and situations,
  5. Contributing to legislative studies regarding the Law on International Labour Force and its sub-regulations,
  6. Carrying out work and transactions regarding work permits,
  7. To determine priorities regarding work permits of foreign nationals, the regions and professions in which they will work, and to make recommendations to prevent unauthorized employment of foreigners,
  8. Contributing to policy-making studies on international labour force,
  9. To prepare and implement national and international projects on issues related to its field of duty, to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects,
  10. Contributing to the preparation of periodical and non-periodical publications of the Directorate General,
  11. Participating in national and international training activities related to the field of duty and carrying out these activities,
  12. To carry out other duties assigned by the Director General
