Duties of the Department of Qualified Labour Force and Investments;
- To carry out studies on the establishment of an International Labour Force Network and talent attractiveness research,
- To evaluate the qualifications of the Turkish labour force in terms of international labour force networks and to research countries where employability is possible and to carry out labour force orientation studies,
- To contribute to activities to benefit from brain migration in the fields of science, technology and innovation to our country,
- To carry out studies so that the qualified Turkish labour force can benefit from international activities and supports (such as research, projects, scholarships, awards, etc.) in order to increase their international competitiveness and ensure their recognition,
- To conduct research on the countries in which Promotion Offices will be established, to determine the rules regarding the working procedures of promotion offices,
- To carry out studies on foreigners working in Türkiye within the scope of foreign direct investments and qualified investments and to carry out business and transactions within this scope,
- To carry out activities to inform the Turkish labour force going abroad about the host country,
- To contribute to the plans to provide in-service training to personnel on necessary subjects and situations,
- Contributing to legislative studies regarding the Law on International Labour Force and its sub-regulations,
- Contributing to policy-making studies on international labour force,
- Carrying out work and transactions regarding work permits,
- To carry out business and transactions related to the Turquoise card,
- To carry out work and transactions regarding foreigners who may be exempt from work permit criteria,
- To carry out work and transactions regarding the employment of foreign personnel within the scope of public investment projects,
- To prepare and implement national and international projects on issues related to its field of duty, to ensure the support and implementation of the prepared projects,
- Contributing to the preparation of periodical and non-periodical publications of the Directorate General,
- Participating in national and international training activities related to the field of duty and carrying out these activities,
- To carry out other duties assigned by the Director General.
