International Labour Policy Evaluation and Monitoring Commission

The Commission for International Labour Policy Evaluation and Monitoring, chaired by the Director General for International Labour Force consists of 11 (eleven) members including (2) Deputies of Director General and Heads of Departments of Legislation and International Agreements, Qualified Labour Force and Investments, Sectoral Permits (I and II), International Labour Force Policies and Researches, International Protection, Compliance and Corporate Relations, Administrative Services. The Commission takes decisions by absolute majority. The duties of the commission are stated below.

  1. To determine work permit evaluation criteria and update them when necessary,
  2. To determine scoring systems and update them when necessary,
  3. To determine the agenda of the International Labour Force Policy Advisory Board,
  4. To determine the procedures and principles regarding work permits for international students and graduates of a higher education institution in Türkiye,
  5. Without prejudice to the rights provided by bilateral or multilateral agreements to which Türkiye is a party and within the framework of the principle of reciprocity, the situation in the labor market and developments in working life, in cases where the sectoral and economic conjuncture conditions regarding employment require it, agriculture, industry or service sectors for a certain period of time, certain To determine the work permits that will be limited according to a profession, line of business or territorial and geographical area,
  6. To determine additional work permit exemption arrangements, provided that they are temporary, taking into account the issues to be taken into account in the creation of the policy document,
  7. To determine positive or negative labour force evaluation lists based on profession, field of activity, geographical region and similar issues in line with the international labour force projection and to update them when necessary,
  8. To consult on project proposals within the scope of national or international funds,
