Payment of Fees and Valuable Paper Fees

Work permit and work permit exemption documents to be issued to foreigners are subject to fees according to Law No. 492 on Fees. Valuable paper fee is also collected for these documents as they are issued as valuable paper in accordance with the Law No. 210 on Valuable Papers. For the applications made to work in Türkiye, it is obligatory to pay the fee and valuable paper fee separately for foreigners whose request is approved by our Ministry. If the required fee and valuable paper fee are not paid within 30 days from the date of notification, the work permit / exemption application is rejected.


2024 Work Permit and Work Permit Exemption Fee Amounts

The fees for the Work Permit Document and Work Permit Exemption Document for 2024, which will be valid as of 01.01.2024, determined by the General Communiqué on the Law on Fees (Sequence No: 94) published in the Official Gazette dated December 30, 2023 and numbered 32415 (2nd Repeated), are stated in the table below.

* For work permit and work permit exemption documents that are requested to be renewed after being reported lost/stolen, half of the current fee and the current valuable paper fee are charged in full (Article 90 of the Law on Fees No. 492).


2024 Valuable Paper Fee

2024 Work Permit Document and Work Permit Exemption Document for the year 2024, which will be valid as of 01.01.2024, determined by the General Communiqué on Valuable Papers (Sequence No: 86) of the Directorate General of Accounting published in the Official Gazette dated December 28, 2023 and numbered 32413, is stated in the table below.

Payment Channels

Direct Payment by Credit Card

Payments can be made through “Payment with Reference Number [Referans Numarası İle Ödeme]”' screen on the home page of Digital Tax Office (https://dijital.gib.gov.tr), by selecting the name of the institution as “Directorate General of International Labor Force [Uluslararası İşgücü Genel Müdürlüğü]” and using “TR Foreigner Identity Number [T.C. Kimlik Numarası]” starting with 9 and the “Transaction (Reference ID) Number [İşlem Referans ID Numarası]” information, which sent by e-mail.

Alternative Payment Method

If payments are to be made through contracted banks in Türkiye (Ziraat Bank, Halk Bankası, Vakıflar Bankası), the amounts specified in the e-mail must be deposited in full to the account codes specified in the e-mail. If more or less than the requested amount is deposited, the transaction cannot be finalized.

For Work Permit Document:

- Work permit fee amount to the account code 9130,

- Valuable Paper Fee to account code 9267;

For Work Permit Exemption Document:

- Work permit exemption fee amount to the account code 9280,

- Valuable Paper Fee to account code 9268;

must be deposited with separate receipts (by declaring the foreigner's foreign identity number starting with 9).

No additional transfer or similar costs will be paid to the banks for these payments. All payments can be seen on the system and there is no need to submit a voucher/bank receipt to the Ministry.
