Work Permit Exemption Information Meeting was held in Izmir with the participation of relevant public institutions and stakeholders.


Within the scope of the IPA II program, our General Directorate hosted an important event called "Work Permit Exemption Information Meeting" held in Izmir on 13.07.2023. This event was held with the aim of strengthening cooperation and coordination, compliance with international standards and increasing quality. In this meeting, the issue of work permit exemption was discussed in detail by sharing experience and information among the participants.

Provincial Directorate, Aegean Region Chamber of Industry, Izmir Provincial Directorate of Commerce, Izmir Regional Port Authority, Izmir Provincial Directorate of National Education, Izmir Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Izmir Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, Izmir High Technology Institute, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality. Municipality, Ege University, Provincial Population and Citizenship Directorate, Izmir Provincial Directorate of Immigration Management, Izmir Provincial Police Department - Anti-Immigrant Smuggling and Border Crossings Branch Directorate, Izmir Democracy University, Deutsche Schule Izmir, Izmir Arkas Sports Club Association, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure III. Important institutions and organizations such as the Regional Directorate, Izmir Aiesec, TURSAB Izmir Region, Izmir İŞKUR, Izmir Development Agency and Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Youth and Sports Club took part.
At the meeting, detailed information was provided to the participants regarding work permit exemption. Issues such as the importance of the subject, application areas, processes and requirements are discussed in detail. Participants had the opportunity to ask their questions and share their opinions on the subject. At the same time, common working areas were determined by sharing experience and good practices among the participants.
