Meeting with OECD International Migration Division

An online meeting was held between the Directorate General for International Labour Force (DGILF) and the International Migration Division of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) which also functions as the Secretariat for the OECD Working Party on Migration (WPM) in which the DGILF represents Türkiye. In the meeting, the current state of affairs and and possible cooperation areas were discussed.

In the meeting, the current state of affairs and and possible cooperation areas were discussed.

During the meeting, Mr. Jean-Christophe Dumont, Head of the OECD International Migration Division, presented the work of OECD, while our Director General Ali Aybey evaluated the relevance of this work to Türkiye. After exchange of views on data systems in the field of labor migration, the effects of migration on labour markets and economy, OECD International Migration Outlook, the meeting was closed with a consensus on continued cooperation.
