Our Deputy General Manager Metehan ÖZCAN attended the opening meeting of the hepyerinden.coop platform held in Bursa by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.

Conducted by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) with funding from the European Union; The opening meeting of the "hepyerinden.coop" e-commerce platform, created in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and our Ministry, was held in Bursa.

The platform implemented within the scope of the project "Improving the Resilience of Syrians and Host Communities Under Temporary Protection in Turkey through Supporting Socioeconomic Integration and Creating Livelihood Opportunities" aims to strengthen the socio-economic integration of foreigners under Temporary Protection and vulnerable communities in Turkey.

Our Deputy General Manager Metehan ÖZCAN, who attended the opening ceremony on behalf of our General Directorate, emphasized in his opening speech the importance of adapting to digitalization as it transforms our lives; He explained the importance of digitalization of sales and marketing, as an inevitable reflection of digital transformation in business life, in terms of sustainable employment, especially in the agricultural sector. He stated that new steps will be taken towards digital solutions that will include agriculture in the field of international workforce.

During the visit, consultations were held with the Provincial Directors of Agriculture and Forestry who attended the meeting regarding METİP, agriculture and livestock exemption and working life.

In the panel held after the opening ceremony, our Deputy General Manager Metehan ÖZCAN emphasized that there is a significant labor force demand in the agriculture and livestock sector.

At the end of the panel, the meeting ended after the participants answered questions about working life.
