Foreigners of Turkish Descent

Foreigners of Turkish origin may apply to our Ministry for a work permit to perform professions and duties that are reserved only for Turkish citizens by relevant laws. However, it is stated that the foreigner is of Turkish descent. It must be proven by documents obtained from official authorities. Documents received from other country embassies or consulates are not accepted.

Work permit applications within this scope are evaluated by our Ministry within the scope of the Law No. 2527 on Foreigners of Turkish Origin Being Free to Practice Their Professions and Arts in Türkiye and Employed in Public, Private Institutions, Organizations or Workplaces, the Regulation on the Implementation of this Law and other relevant legislation, and are concluded by taking the opinions of the relevant ministries.
